Laser correction of vascular skin changes

Couperose, rosacea and spider veins on the face and body become less visible.

The light energy of the Photo and Elos methods is absorbed by dilated capillaries, so they become less visible. Redness, spider veins and the fine network on the cheeks and nose gradually fade. The price depends on the size and number of veins — your specialist will give an exact quote at the consultation.

How it works

  1. 01

    Assessment

The specialist assesses the size and depth of the vessels and chooses IPL for networks or 980 nm for single vessels.

  2. 02

    Light → heat

Haemoglobin in the dilated capillary absorbs the light, so the vessel heats up and “seals”.

  3. 03

    Gradual fading

Over 1–3 weeks the body remodels the vessel and it becomes less visible.

What you get

  • Less visible spider veins
  • A more even tone on cheeks and nose
