How it works

  1. 01

    Skin map

The specialist decides what to even out — pigment, redness or texture — and sets the light filters.

  2. 02

    Broad spectrum

BBL/IPL pulses cover the whole face: pigment and vessels absorb the light and fibroblasts get a signal to renew.

  3. 03

    Renewal

Within 1–2 weeks the tone evens out, and after a course the skin looks denser and fresher.

01

Before the procedure

  • For 2 weeks before the procedure avoid sunbathing, tanning beds and self-tanner.
  • For 5–7 days before, pause peels, scrubs, retinoids and acids in the treatment area.
  • Tell your specialist about any medication: some antibiotics, isotretinoin and St John’s wort increase sensitivity to light.
  • Come without makeup or cream on the area — or wash them off in the studio.
02

After the procedure

  • Apply SPF 50 every day for 2 weeks — even on cloudy days.
  • Pigment dots may darken and flake off within 7–10 days — this is normal.
  • Do not scratch or pick at crusts or flakes — they will come off on their own.
  • For 2–3 days no sauna, steam room, swimming pool or very hot showers.

Frequently asked questions

How is BBL different from regular IPL?

It is the same broad-spectrum light principle, but with more precise filters and settings for each task — tone, pigment and redness in one session.

When is the best time?

In autumn, winter and spring when the sun is gentler. Summer is possible too — with SPF 50 and no tanning.
