Before the procedure

For 2 weeks before the procedure avoid sunbathing, tanning beds and self-tanner.
If you take isotretinoin — the procedure is possible only 6 months after the course.
For 5–7 days before, pause peels, scrubs, retinoids and acids in the treatment area.
Come without makeup or cream on the area — or wash them off in the studio.

After the procedure

Do not squeeze breakouts — it leaves marks.
Apply SPF 50 every day for 2 weeks — even on cloudy days.
Non-comedogenic skincare, a clean towel and pillowcase.
For 2–3 days no sauna, steam room, swimming pool or very hot showers.

Contraindications

In addition to the general contraindications:

A fresh tan on the treatment area
Medication that increases photosensitivity (including isotretinoin — for 6 months after the course)
Isotretinoin now or less than 6 months ago
Active cold sores or inflammation on the treatment area
